The MOMS Club of Lewis Center North chapter is a support group for stay-at- home moms and moms that work part-time who are looking to connect with other area moms.  MOMS Club is a great way to network with other moms, voice opinions, discuss topics of interest, and give you the opportunity to share activities with other at-home mothers while providing your children a chance to form friendships with other at-home children.  We have various activities throughout the month: playgroups, crafts, holiday parties, discussion groups, a monthly meeting and a monthly Mom’s Night Out. We also have various service projects throughout the year from collecting school supplies for children in need to donating to local charitable organizations; we support the community we live in. There truly is something for everyone.

Our chapter is part of MOMS Club international, a non-profit organization that was started in 1983 in California. To date there are over 75,000 members and 1,500 chapters across the United States. For more information about the MOMS Club organization, check out their website at www.momsclub.org.

We meet during the day because that is when mothers-at- home need the support. We believe being a mother shouldn’t isolate you, so children are welcome at all activities. We do ask that when your children attend, you are responsible for their safety and behavior.

We encourage our members to showcase their talents through being board members or volunteer coordinators, offering ideas at our monthly Business Meetings or providing articles for our monthly newsletter.

We welcome you to attend up to two Members’ Meetings before joining. Our chapter is open to new members and you probably won’t be the only new person there. Although some of us have lived here for years and are experienced mothers, there are also many new to the area and new to motherhood. We all have one thing in common—the MOMS Club introduced us to other moms who stay at home…the ones that soon became our friends!
